GOOD NEWS!

Sept. 8th, 2008

USTA League Regulations now state
that Dynamic Disqualification of Computer Rated (C)
and Benchmark (B) Adult and Senior League Players is
Eliminated, beginning with the 2009 League season!

! Warning !
Players who CAN still be dynamically disqualified based on three strikes, have an NTRP Level followed by one of the following characters:

S Self-rated players

A Appealed - all granted appeals

M Mixed exclusive players

T Tournament exclusive players

D Dynamic rated players

If you are a Self-rated player (S), or are playing on an Appeal (A), or are a Mixed exclusive player (M), or are a Tournament exclusive player (T), or are a Dynamic rated player (D), you ARE subject to Dynamic Disqualification - during the Season AND at Regionals and Sectionals - and you have no recourse or appeal, unless you can prove your scores were entered in error!

2010 National League Rules, Section 3.04A NTRP Disqualification Procedures, now reads:

"Dynamic ratings will be calculated for all players during local league competition, and at every level of championship competition below National Championships, to determine if any players have reached the NTRP disqualification criteria stated in the USTA NTRP Computer Rating System Procedures.

Year-end computer ( C ) and benchmark ( B ) players are not subject to dynamic NTRP disqualification.

All other players (S, A, M, T, D) will be NTRP disqualified if they reach the disqualification level three (3) times based on all matches reported in the National database for USTA League Tennis Adult and Senior divisions".
